Research support technician

I am an economist from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), Phd from the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia (Spain) and a expert in evaluation of public policies (University of Seville). In my academic and professional career I have specialized in economic research in the agri-food sector and economics of innovation. I have participated in more than 40 applied research projects related mainly to the agri-food and forestry sector on various topics (such as market studies on various products; economic analysis of value chains and productive sectors; analysis of regulations and control systems of practices unfair trade); as well as in the analysis-evaluation of public policies and strategic plans linked to the promotion of R+D+i and technology transfer; analysis of access to competitive European financing at regional and sectoral level. More recently I have specialized in the economic quantification of the sectors linked to the Blue Economy. Regarding publications, I have 5 articles published in indexed scientific journals, 4 book chapters and 14 dissemination articles published as a result of the projects carried out. Complementarily, I have presented 18 communications in national and international congresses. In addition, I frequently collaborate in teaching with various universities. I have been a professor at 4 universities in Spain (UPC, UPV, UOC, UAB). Currently, I am also an associate professor in the department of economics and economic history at the UAB.
