Hi I’m Jonatan, associate professor and director of the master’s degree in Engineering and Supply Chain Management at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). My professional training is Industrial Engineering at the National University of Trujillo. Subsequently, I completed a master’s degree in Operations Management at the PUCP. My work experience is mainly in the agro-industrial export sector, and my challenge was to increase the competitive advantage of organizations by optimizing their operations and strengthening the supply chain through tools of Lean Manufacturing, Data Science, and mathematical modeling – statistics.

Currently my interest in life development is focused on the articulation of value chains of traditional rural agriculture products with approaches to sustainability and improving the quality of life of farmers. In order to be able to strengthen myself in this, I am doing my PhD in Sustainability at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and I complement them with my master’s degree in Government and Public Policy at PUCP.
