David Fernandez Guerrero holds a PhD in Business Administration from Aalborg University (Denmark). His research interests focus on two closely related areas: Firstly, coordination between regional, national and transnational innovation policies, and their effects on the sustainable development of the blue bioeconomy, in different regions. Secondly, the effect of these policies on the innovation capacity of the agri-food sector and sustainable regional development. As part of his work, David combines qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. The former includes semi-structured interview methods and participatory workshops; the latter comprise statistical analysis techniques such as linear regression and logistics.
