HealthyW8, project in which the Centre de Recerca en Economia i Desenvolupament Agroalimentari (CREDA) participates, is looking for the collaboration of families with whom it can carry out a pilot test in the nutritional field with the objective of advancing its analysis and encouraging the creation of healthier habits and routines
The project aims to help people choose lifestyles adapted to their needs, emotions and environments, taking into account dietary, physical and mental recommendations, with the ultimate goal of preventing obesity.
To achieve this, HealthyW8 will develop a prevention approach that includes an enhanced Human Learning and Recommendation System (HLRS) based on an emotion-aware Human Digital Twin (HDT). The information collected will provide personalized recommendations and predict human behaviour in response to emotions.
The target profile of the study is:
- Boys and girls between 5 and 12 years old.
- Not suffering from chronic diabetes or any other disease related to metabolism.
- Have a smartphone with Internet access to use digital tools (your own or that of a responsible adult).
- Be located within or near the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, Spain.
The study will last a total of three months, starting in April 2025, and each participant will be required to complete several questionnaires (sociodemographic, quality of life, diet and attitudes), follow up on suggested activities and provide saliva, urine and stool samples.
